This particular 1956 MGA is a right-hand drive example with manual transmission, and it presents beautifully. It has clearly benefited from a beautiful restoration and remains a very attractive, well-kept car. From the way it stands to the way it shows, this is an MGA that makes an immediate impression.
It is also a numbers matching car, with the engine number on record matching the papers — an important point on any classic British sports car. Good, honest examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and that only adds to the appeal here.
On the road, this is exactly what an MGA should be. Light, engaging and full of character, with that pure open-top driving experience these cars are loved for. It runs great, making it a proper classic that is ready to be enjoyed, whether for weekend outings, local shows or simply a relaxed top-down cruise on a sunny day.
At check-in, no oil leaks were noted, and all lights, gauges and wipers were found to be working. It presents well overall.
