This example was owned by the same lady owner for the past 30 years, and meticulously maintained by a Mercedes dealer in Mpumalanga. Service records are available. It was acquired as a 30th birthday present, and being sold just after a 60th birthday.
When bought back in 1994, she was painted in the current off-yellow colour, which really does suit the car well. The original colour was white. She can be taken back to the original colour easily. She was polished and detailed. Presents great! There is not a drop of rust present.
The original matching numbers 230 engine is as honest as it comes and purrs as one would expect from a car of this stature. The manual 4 speed transmission shifts effortlessly.
She was given a good service recently and is ready to be used. Mechanically she is 100%. She shows a clocked mileage of 86000km.
The interior presents very well, and all intact. She was fitted with a later model radio, which can also easily be reversed. The black soft top is in excellent condition.
