This beautiful blue DeSoto represents the 50’s and the look and feel takes one back to the era of big cars with wings and loads of presence, just as this example.
The interior was redone and it presents as one would expect. Clean and very simple. The gauges and dashboard is what makes it feel like a space ship!
The bodywork and paint is near perfect. A recent paint correction by Grit has her shining better than when she left the factory. She has been repainted professionally.
Mechanically she purrs! The original 313Ci V8 starts on the turn and is in extremely healthy condition by the sound of it. She runs the factory manual three speed gearbox and has remained column shift all its life.
This is a very enjoyable car and is a real looker. Grabbing the attention wherever she goes.
The brakes was recently redone and she stops in a straight line.
This is the ideal wedding or function vehicle and is reliable enough to do just that.
