A rare Turbo Diesel 80 Series in very, very good condition. These old-school Cruisers have developed a serious following, and finding an honest, well-preserved example like this is becoming increasingly difficult.
Finished in white, this right-hand-drive Land Cruiser has travelled 193,200km and retains mainly original paintwork. The exterior presents beautifully, while the original interior is in excellent condition. The photos speak for themselves — this is a Cruiser that has clearly been looked after.
Mechanically, it is exceptionally well sorted, with a significant amount of money spent where it matters. It starts and runs beautifully, and the manual transmission gives it the proper old-school Cruiser feel. Strong, simple and reliable, just as an 80 Series should be.
Power steering and working air conditioning make it a genuinely usable classic, whether for longer trips, weekend driving or simply enjoying as part of a collection. The power steering operates correctly, and the air conditioning is cold and functioning as it should.
All lights, gauges, wipers and windows are working. It also comes with its books and manuals, adding to what is already a very complete and appealing example.
The 80 Series remains one of Toyota’s most respected Land Cruisers, combining famous durability with comfort and everyday usability. The Turbo Diesel models are particularly sought after, and good original examples are hard to replace.
A proper old-school Land Cruiser. Mechanically well sorted, largely original and ready to be enjoyed. Do not miss this one.

★★★★★ - A True Sanctuary for Classic Car Enthusiasts
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wat Swaai Jy and was absolutely blown away. This isn't just a dealership; it's a museum where every car tells a story. From impeccably restored muscle cars to perfectly preserved European grand tourers, their inventory is diverse and of the highest quality.
What truly sets them apart is the expertise and genuine passion of the staff, not only about the mechanics and history of the vehicles but also about the provenance and market value. There was zero pressure—just honest, excited discussion about classic cars.
If you're serious about finding a rare, high-quality classic, or just want to spend an afternoon admiring automotive history, Wat Swaai Jy is the definitive place to go. A truly world-class operation.
