“A better one which iN more original would not be easy to find! This is a must see if you are a Mercedes collector or enthusiast.
For this lengthy restoration which was commissioned by the only SA owner, all parts and spares were sourced and supplied by Tim Kidder from K&K Manufacturing.
The restoration was done locally in SA and was supervised by the owner to make sure all was done according to factory specification and quality. This is reasonably stating one of the best restorations SA has seen. After the body-off rebuild the car received a ceramic coating to protect and preserve the immaculate paint job.
The feeling when getting in and driving this car is incomparable to anything else. As comfortable as you would expect and in perfect condition. The hard and soft top is excellent. She was also the 2010 Mercedes Concourse winner and is in the same condition as she was then.
Mechanically she is new and this is not an understatement, please have a look for yourself – top to bottom everything was refurbished or replaced and everything works 100% as it should.
This classic Mercedes Benz Pagoda has an Automatic transmission along with her factory matching numbers engine which is as good as new. She is also a RHD model which is perfect for SA and for export to the relevant countries.
All tools and jack as well as spare wheel is present and included.
The track record this car has with sales in SA and the appreciation in value is tremendous. We have bought and sold this beauty 4 times since we first sold her, although she remained with us all the time.”
