We have had a couple of these through our showrooms over the past years, this one just takes the cake from a mechanical drivers car point of view!
This beauty was restored some years ago and presents very well. She was built to be a drivers car used for road rallies and long distance rallies, in which she performs excellent.
The 3L 6 cylinder engine runs very strong and the sound is exhilarating, especially when she is pushed a bit… She is mechanically ready to be taken out and enjoyed. A front disc brake upgrade was done and this is absolutely required when you want to stop safely and reliably. The choice of wheels was influenced by the disc brake conversion as the standard spoke wheels are to small and interferes with the discs. Larger diameter spoke wheels are available on import from the UK.
The paintwork presents well and the colour works very well with the car. She has a colour coded hard top which is sold with her. The soft top is in good condition as well. A tonneau cover is also available.
The appropriate interior and simplicity thereof just speaks for itself. Some subtle upgrades such as a USB charger was fitted under the dash.
This example is ready to go anywhere and would be an appreciating asset for as long as she is kept in this condition.
