Land Cruiser FJ40
“Another gem of a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is being offered for sale, and boy is this a good one!
From top to bottom, she was refurbished and it looks proper. She is ready for her new owner to enjoy!
The bodywork and paint were presented well and were redone in the original colour. She had most of the work done in Indonesia, from where she was imported.
The gaps are good and all doors and panels align.
Mechanically she runs the factory 2F petrol engine, mated to a 3spd manual gearbox. She sits on 16” solid (non-split) rims that have been beautifully refurbished and are fitted with new period-correct 7.50-16 rubber. She starts on the turn and runs like a dream.
It has power steering and an ice-cold air-conditioning system, making it a pleasure to drive around town or in the bush!
Below is a long list of new and serviced parts, including:
– New OEM “Toyota” badges front and back and new “4-wheel drive badge”
– New OEM Toyota front bumper
– New OEM headlights and taillights
– New Chrome hub caps
– New Brake & clutch master cylinders and hoses
– New OEM window felts
– New OEM front indicators (not installed yet on photos)
– Full oil and filter service and mechanical inspection.
She presents better than in the photos. For those who know, FJ40s and BJ40s are most likely the most sought-after Cruisers today! Do not miss out on this one!

This isn't just a dealership; it's a museum where every car tells a story. From impeccably restored muscle cars to perfectly preserved European grand tourers, their inventory is diverse and of the highest quality. What truly sets them apart is the expertise and genuine passion of the staff, not only about the mechanics and history of the vehicles but also about the provenance and market value. There was zero pressure—just honest, excited discussion about classic cars. If you're serious about finding a rare, high-quality classic, or just want to spend an afternoon admiring automotive history, Wat Swaai Jy is the definitive place to go. A truly world-class operation.Posted on Mark GeddesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
